This program focuses on the foundational skills and knowledge necessary for professionals entering the specialization of network design or working as an apprentice to a more experienced network design engineer.

This exam indicates a foundation or apprentice knowledge of network design for the Cisco converged networks based on Borderless Network Architecture. CCDA certified professionals can design routed and switched network infrastructures and services involving LAN/WAN technologies for SMB or basic enterprise campus and branch networks.

Perquisites

The student must have cleared Exam 100-105 : Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1 (ICND1) v3.0.  This is the minimum of requirements.
