I was glancing over IBM's cybersecurity services and was reading something about how do they power the endpoint protection at the level of an enterprise.

Their approach is that --Threat defense starts with around-the-clock prevention, detection and fast response. And, early detection of any attack or malware depends on intelligence.

Their service Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service provides intrusion detection of malware and malicious activity on networks. This service also assists in rapid incident response to eliminate those threats with right remediation actions. It is a turnkey service and operates 24x7.

Since they know the value of intelligence in the response to any malicious activity in the corporate network, their response is always based on advanced feeds regarding threat intelligence. Since whole MDR is integrated with 'Incident Response and Intelligence Services' which they call as 'IRIS'.

IRIS in itself is the part of their X-Force package. Well, the idea here is that IRIS provides advanced threat intelligence and detailed analytics. The security experts at IBM work with these analytics and feeds and develop a much better understanding of additional context, they also develop ce ustom detection and insights. Their skilled threat analysis helps companies to detect threat much faster and more proactively.

That's why IBM's threat intelligence technology and its trained security specialists makes MDR a very different and powerful service.
I hope you must have learnt something good from this post.
