Some journeys aren’t just personal—they’re poetic. Mine began in a humble village school, seated on the floor, learning the basics of language and numbers.
A beautiful circle of my journey just completed.
I started my education in a small village school, studying there from 1st to 5th standard. For further studies (6th to 12th), I moved to the nearest town. It was in those early classrooms that the first sparks of curiosity were lit.
Years ago, I walked through the gates of this school as a young student full of dreams.
Recently, I returned to that same school—not as a student, but as a professional in cybersecurity.
I was invited to share what I’ve learned, to inspire, and to raise awareness where it’s needed the most. I had the privilege of speaking to young girls, many of whom had never interacted with someone working in tech.
The session focused on cybersecurity awareness—a crucial yet often overlooked topic in rural education. I spoke about online safety, digital footprints, career opportunities in IT, and the importance of being cyber-aware in today’s world.
In those eager faces, I saw dreamers, doers, and leaders in the making. It was a truly heartwarming experience to return, reconnect with my roots, and inspire the next generation.
The girls were full of energy and thoroughly enjoyed the session!
This experience reminded me that giving back isn’t a favor—it’s a responsibility.
When we bring knowledge to where it’s needed the most, we do more than teach. We build bridges, spark hope, and possibly, transform lives.
To my younger self, and to every young girl sitting in those classrooms today: you belong in tech, and the world is waiting for your brilliance. All the best for bright future.
